Music thread? More place to gush about The Pillows? DON'T MIND IF I DO!

The Pillows are a japanese band formed in 1990. Their first album had its sound rooted in City Pop, but they would move away from that and embrace more inspiration from American bands like The Pixies and Red Hot Chili Peppers. They officially retired in January of this year, hesitating to use the word "disbanded" as it was less of a breakup and more they're just getting on in years and don't want to play the music business grind anymore, but they didn't want to give false hope for a reunion tour that will never come.
In 35 years, they produced 22 albums. I would say that's fuckin respectable.
