Quote from: Tinc on Mar 21, 2026, 07:25 PMOh!! This is cool :D

I'll have to check it!

(Esp with my new interest in Picotron and retro/fantasy interfaces, I've been considering getting into pixel art :3c)

Yay!! Hawk and I have plenty of resources to share on the Pixel Art, front. And Jar also knows a fair bit, as well, and she shared a resource with me a while back!

After looking at some of the games the community already using S&box have made, I'm going to keep my distance for now. >.> Lots of bros making ugly shooter games and not much else.

Pico8 and Godot it is.

Still working on getting the custom domain setup (I'm always so bad with that), but here's the link in the meantime!

https://rodsharkone.bearblog.dev/

Documenting mainly the move right now but it'll be about my whole life eventually. And I'm experimenting with CSS and forms on it all the time. It'll be a website of its own soon. :3

Honestly, i didn't dislike using UE4, but i do think its, and Epic's, market share is a net negative on the industry overall and would love seeing a wider variety of engines being popularized.

i was enjoying my time with Godot when i was actively working in it.

i also really love the charm of working with more limited or constrained engines, like Pico8, and just realized there is a Godot extension for running lua meaning that one could run Pico8 within Godot...

Wow! This is an era of gaming I never thought I'd see again!

I was not a big Source nor Gary's Mod fan/user, but I loved it existing! Plus have been feeling like modern game dev being stuck with just two major "engines" has felt so stale...
