Wow! This is an era of gaming I never thought I'd see again!

I was not a big Source nor Gary's Mod fan/user, but I loved it existing! Plus have been feeling like modern game dev being stuck with just two major "engines" has felt so stale...

Honestly, i didn't dislike using UE4, but i do think its, and Epic's, market share is a net negative on the industry overall and would love seeing a wider variety of engines being popularized.

i was enjoying my time with Godot when i was actively working in it.

i also really love the charm of working with more limited or constrained engines, like Pico8, and just realized there is a Godot extension for running lua meaning that one could run Pico8 within Godot...

After looking at some of the games the community already using S&box have made, I'm going to keep my distance for now. >.> Lots of bros making ugly shooter games and not much else.

Pico8 and Godot it is.
